Soulstone Spa & Apothecary is a therapeutic and oncology focused spa studio located in the iconic Flatiron District in NYC. We are easily accessible and convenient to many subway and bus lines, as well as the PATH train from New Jersey. We provide specialized spa treatments for those who have been diagnosed with cancer, and can help with chronic musculoskeletal pain, restriction, and tension.

The founder, Khadijah Hewitt-Nelson is a licensed massage therapist and esthetician with two decades of experience in the oncology field at the renown Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. To Khadijah, massage therapy is the perfect balance of continuous learning, hands on application, and educating others. 

 

Khadijah spent the first five years of her massage career in medical massage helping accident victims, post-surgical and patients with chronic pain. It was her dad’s diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, however, that changed her trajectory. Towards the end of his battle the only thing that provided reprieve from his pain and allowed him to sleep was massage. From that moment she decided she would dedicate her career to providing that service to as many oncology patients as possible. To that end, she earned a board certification in oncology massage, and a certification in oncology skincare.
